It seems strange that the older I get the more I’m willing to let things ride. When we’re younger and have more time in life we should be more willing to work slowly and let things develop. We can afford the time. When we’re older and have less time left on this earth, shouldn’t we be in more of a rush to make things happen? But the exact opposite is true. When I was young I want everything to be done now, to be done quickly. Now that I’m older I’m able to sit back and be content to watch things unfold and move more methodically and slowly.
