Just Getting Old

My doctor’s nurse called my house today and spoke with my wife.  Turns out there’s no permanent damage to my spine. It’s normal for a person my age.  No fracture ater all … apparently it’s just going to take a long time for the muscles in my back to heal after such a fall.

I’m really glad to hear that you don’t have a fracture. Prayer: answered! I hope you can take it easy and heal up in the meantime.

  2. I think the heating pad is going to become my new best friend. Getting older sucks! 😦

  3. I was given a similar answer today, brother. A 19-yr old girl in my church broke ribs the same day I did. She’s back up to full speed. I asked my doctor if it was normal for me to still be at a certain level of pain. When he began his response with “At your age,” I knew I was in trouble. I’m not ready for this, Jason. 🙂

Thanks for letting us know our prayers were answered. I’m somewhere up the road ahead of you, and struggling simply to keep some of my youthful strength.
