More Abbieisms

Realizing not everyone who occasionally access this blog uses Facebook or Twitter, here are a few recent Abbieisms from our recent family homeschool field trip:

  • Regarding the Omaha Zoo (the biggest zoo my kids have ever been to): “This is like a real zoo!”
  • On Bears: “Bears are like giant dogs that only eat meat.”

It’s fun to look at the world through the eyes of a seven-year-old.

  1. Ed Hurst says:

Thanks, I’m one of those who doesn’t Twitter nor Faceplant — err, Facebook.

  2. Today Abbie (who did actually faceplant last Sunday and has the scab on her nose to prove it) asked, “Why is it called ‘faceplanting’ when someone falls on their face?”

Hmm, thought that would be self evident. “Because you tried to plant your face in the dirt like a seed,” her mother explained. Abbie just giggled.
